The Cohiba Riviera Robusto represents many firsts for General Cigar Co. It’s the first time a non-Cuban Cohiba has placed on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 rankings since it began in 2004. It’s also the first Cohiba in a Mexican wrapper, as well as the first time General’s Cohiba has ever been box-pressed. Riviera debuted in 2023 as a three-size line produced in Nicaragua. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper covers a Honduran broadleaf binder and a filler blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco. This bold Robusto delivers a chocolate-like smoke with notes of oak, spice and leather before a sweet and nutty finish. —Garrett Rutledge
